Dr. John Lefebre

Dr. John Lefebre is vice president, senior technical global medical director, with RGA.

Before joining RGA in 2006, Dr. Lefebre served as chief medical firector with two other reinsurers. He gained extensive clinical experience in teaching hospitals in Halifax and Toronto and later practiced clinical medicine in Toronto, where he was the associate director of the MDS and then a member of the Medisys executive health care program.

Dr. Lefebre completed his medical training at the University of Alberta in Edmonton and completed his post-graduate residency at the University of Toronto in Ontario. He is a member of the Canadian Life Insurance Medical Officers Association.
