Samantha Chow is the LAH marketing lead with EIS Group, bringing 20 years of experience in the life insurance and annuity industry.
She has deep expertise in primary and secondary market research, product development, pricing strategies, competitive intelligence, project management, process improvement, underwriting, claims, policy administration, operations management and change management in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining EIS Group, Chow was senior analyst for Aite Group covering insurtech, business and regulatory trends in the life insurance and annuity industry for five years. Previous roles also include corporate vice president of business productivity and innovation at New York Life. In this role, she was responsible for building and growing an enterprise-wide capability for facilitating transformational and cultural insurance change. This position included training and coaching at all levels, executing focused initiatives with stakeholders and implementing full-scale projects for business and IT initiatives (using SAFe/Agile methods). Prior to this role, Chow led the research department at New York Life, where she was charged with providing research and recommendations for business strategies, new products, pricing analysis/strategies and competitive intelligence through both primary and secondary methods.
She also worked at American Family Life Assurance in multiple research capacities, including agent satisfaction and technology needs assessments. Additionally, she has held research positions in the travel and tourism, financial and publishing industries.
Chow holds a B.S. in marketing and statistics and a masters in international business. She is certified in change management and the Klapper Institute problem-solving methodology.
