Pete Miller

Peter L. Miller is president and chief executive officer of the Institutes and leads the CPCU Society and the Griffith Insurance Education Foundation as a result of the affiliation of these organizations with the Institutes in 2012. Miller also serves ex officio as a member of the Institutes’ board of trustees. Before he was named president and CEO in 2006, Miller served as the interim and acting president and CEO.

Previously, Miller was executive vice president, with responsibility for the business operations of the Institutes. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Miller serves as a member of the board of the Insurance Institute of Switzerland and of Gamma Iota Sigma and as chairman of the Institute for Global Insurance Education (IGIE). He is a member of the University of Farmers board of regents and a member of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIAB) InVEST board of trustees.
