Paul Mang

Paul Mang is the global CEO of analytics at Aon. In this role, he develops and executes the data and analytics strategy that creates long term growth options for Aon and enables it to better serve clients.

Prior to joining Aon, he was the managing partner at Avarie Capital LLC, a strategic advisory and investment firm focused on software and analytics new ventures in Silicon Valley, California. Mang was formerly a partner at McKinsey & Company and a leader in its North American financial services group. Over 14 years at McKinsey, in both the Chicago and London offices, he has counseled numerous clients on issues across strategy, organization and operations. Before joining McKinsey, Mang was an assistant professor of management at the University of Texas at Austin, graduate school of business. His research in entrepreneurship, innovation and technology strategy has been published in journals such as Strategic Organnization, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Research Policy and McKinsey Quarterly.

Mang holds a doctorate in strategic management from the Harvard Business School, and MS engineering and BA degrees from Stanford University.
