Lewis Goldman is a consultant who leverages data, digital distribution, marketing and partnerships to scale businesses, and he’s currently leading Sikka Software’s insurance business. Sikka has data on over 35% of the dental patients in the U.S. and has created tobacco and mortality scores to assist with automated underwriting for life insurance carriers.
Goldman’s focus on accelerating revenue growth through innovation comes from extensive experience in marketing and digital roles at companies ranging from Citigroup and MetLife to LinkedIn, Amazon, 1800flowers.com and LendKey.
In addition to his work with large financial service and insurance companies, Goldman works with smaller entities to scale their organizations and processes, leveraging his experience building or reorganizing seven different marketing/e-commerce organizations. Most recently, Goldman served as CMO of LendKey Technologies, a lending-as-a-service fintech company that worked with credit unions and community banks to provide turnkey loan originations and servicing in the education lending space.
Prior to LendKey, he was CMO for the U.S. arm of Global Life Distribution, a direct-to-consumer distributor of life insurance backed by Swiss Re that built on his work at MetLife. As SVP of the U.S. Direct Life Insurance business at MetLife, he created products and processes and led consumer marketing efforts for a new channel of distribution, with a focus on selling affordable life insurance to middle-market and multicultural consumers. In 2014, the business doubled in size and generated 60% of MetLife’s new policies in the U.S., helping to reverse a decades-long decline in new life insurance policies sold.
Prior to joining MetLife, Goldman was president of New Media Consulting (NMC), where he advised organizations how to optimize marketing and digital customer engagement to build their businesses and accelerate revenue growth. His clients included LinkedIn, Amazon, NY Life, Hudson and Clearlink, as well as several startups and early-stage companies in the insurance and fintech spaces.
He has also served in a variety of senior marketing and e-commerce roles at 1800flowers.com (where he was CMO), Citigroup, Sony and CNBC.
Goldman currently teaches marketing to graduate students as an adjunct assistant professor at St. Johns University and is a graduate of Harvard University and Columbia Business School.
