John G. Bruno serves as Aon’s chief operating officer as well as chief executive officer of Aon’s data and analytic services solution line, which includes the firm’s technology-enabled affinity and human capital solutions businesses.
Bruno joined Aon in September 2014 and has served in several leadership positions with increasing responsibility, including executive vice president of enterprise innovation and chief information officer and chief operations officer and head of Aon business services.
Prior to joining Aon, Bruno was executive vice president, industry and field operations and corporate development for NCR, where he led all of NCR’s lines of business, including financial services, retail, hospitality, travel, telecom and technology, interactive printer solutions and small business. As NCR’s chief technology officer, he played a prominent role in the company’s reinvention to a growth-oriented, hardware-enabled, software-driven business with a focus on innovation and business model transformation. Under Bruno’s leadership, NCR completed a number of transformative acquisitions, including its three largest, while repositioning the company’s brand and marketing approach to align with its reinvention—defining and leading a new technology category of consumer transaction technologies.
Throughout his career in the technology industry, he has held senior leadership positions with increasing responsibilities with Fortune 500 companies, including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Cisco Systems.
Bruno serves on the board for Global Payments and Technology Business Management Council.
