Evan Busman has more than 25 years of risk management consulting experience. He has led consulting engagements that address a wide range of risk management and financing needs, including organizational risk profiling, integrated risk approaches and financial management of risk. He is an expert in design and implementation of non-traditional risk financing arrangements, including development of financial risk decision support models.
Busman’s project expertise includes feasibility, business planning and utilization studies for complex single parent (traditional and small) and group captive arrangements, risk and retention optimization (including economic cost of risk and efficient insurance frontier analysis), risk bearing capacity, unique alternative risk transfer mechanisms, loss forecasting and reserve analysis, enterprise risk management, loss sensitive cost of risk allocation models and risk management program reviews.
He has been a frequent speaker at risk management seminars and contributor to various risk management publications. Previously, Busman was a senior consultant for a global risk management consulting organization, the Midwest leader of the advanced risk solution unit of a global risk and insurance services firm and the consulting practice leader for a top privately held insurance brokerage.
Busman holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a BBA, with major in accounting, from the University of Georgia.
