Daniel Hillman

Daniel Hillman is the co-founder of Kalepa, which delivers decision-support software to commercial insurance underwriters. Leading insurers, MGAs and program managers use Copilot to achieve efficient frontier underwriting and fast-growing, profitable books.
For close to a decade, Hillman led new industry growth for APT, a software firm, through its acquisition by Mastercard. He founded and scaled the insurance and commercial banking practices and established the Australia business.
Previously, Hillman served in the Israeli Air Force and intelligence services. Hillman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BSE in systems science engineering and a BA in economics and mathematics.
