Chris Rafferty

Chris Rafferty is the chief operating officer of Aon’s financial services group (FSG). He is responsible for serving some of Aon’s largest FSG clients, as well as operational strategy, collaboration and best practices across FSG’s specialties and adjacent financial lines, including management liability, professional liability and transactional liability.

Rafferty began working in the insurance industry in 2007. He has been with Aon since that time and has held roles of increasing responsibility.

Prior to Aon, Rafferty was with Lincoln International, a Chicago-based mergers & acquisition investment bank. Rafferty specialized in mid-market M&A transaction advisory work, including sell-side, buy-side and financial engineering transactions. Additionally, he worked at Wachovia Securities Energy & Power investment banking group, with a focus on capital markets transactions.

Rafferty earned a business degree from the University of Evansville, (2001) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (2006).
