James Ruotolo is the Principal Insurance Fraud Solutions Architect in the Global Fraud & Financial Crimes Practice at SAS®. He is responsible for the planning, management and marketing of fraud detection and investigation management solutions for the property, casualty, life and disability insurance markets worldwide.
Mr. Ruotolo has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance fraud investigation industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Economic Crime Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and has taught graduate courses as an adjunct faculty member of the Utica College Economic Crime and Fraud Management MBA program. He is a certified Fraud Claim Law Specialist (FCLS) and the co-inventor of a patent-pending insurance fraud detection model that utilizes determinate and indeterminate data.
