David Jacobs is a Shareholder of Grant, Hinkle & Jacobs, Inc. With over thirteen years of experience in law, insurance, and communications, he brings a valuable perspective to the planning process.
David frequently authors special reports on advanced planning techniques and speaks on behalf of his firm at conferences, seminars, and events. He regularly provides continuing education to attorneys, accountants, fiduciaries, and other professionals.
David is also active with local charities, serving on the board of directors for Center for Community Solutions and as a member of the Professional Advisory Committee to the San Diego Jewish Community Foundation. He also participates in the North County Estate Planning Council, the San Diego Trusted Advisors Roundtable, and the California Society of CPAs where he was called upon to lecture at the CalCPA/UCSD 2008 Tax & Accounting Institute.
David received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego. He holds insurance licenses in several states.
David resides in Carmel Valley, California with his wife Julie and their two children.
